They put the band together themselves three years ago, playing jazz in front of the local grocery store. Seeing how determined they were, Greg Nielsen, jazz trombonist, took them under his wing and became their coach and mentor. The band is now performing over eighty concerts a year and has made several television performances. This summer, Jazz Juvenocracy toured Europe and performed at Le Baryton Jazz Club, The Jazz a Vienne Festival, The Montreux Jazz Festival and The Umbria Jazz Festival. Jazz Juvenocracy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to jazz education and preservation. Musician Line up...
